Our low-temperature V-TiN coating is designed to meet the demanding requirements of the molding industry. The thin coating (.000039"- .000066") does not require special design tolerances to allow for coating build-up and provides an excellent wear surface on mold components. The added lubricity of V-TiN provides greater release qualities desirable to injection molders. A few examples of components commonly coated with V-TiN include:
