Gary Vergason,

Gary is the founder of VTI, and as our technical director, he heads our new product development group. Working in the vacuum coating industry since 1981, Gary has authored six patents in the field of vacuum coatings. In 1996, he was named New York State Small Businessman of the Year. Gary belongs to the Society of Vacuum Coaters and serves on its tactical commitee. He also is a member of the American Vacuum Society, the American Society of Materials, the American Electroplaters and Surface Finishers Society, and the Surface Engineering Coating Association.
